PersonaLingua: Crafting Personalized Language Paths for Adult Learners

Objectives

The primary objective of the PersonaLingua project is to develop an innovative platform that supports language schools and tutors in delivering personalised language instruction tailored to the needs of adult learners, particularly those with learning difficulties and migrant backgrounds.
The project’s specific goals include:

  • Developing an AI-powered platform that assists language educators in customizing lessons to each student’s learning profile and needs.
  • Increase student retention rates in partner schools by 10% during the 16-month project period.
  • Implementing the platform in two partner language schools during the project and expanding its use to five additional schools in the year following project completion.

Target Groups

  • Primary Target Group: Adult students with learning difficulties and migrant backgrounds who require adapted language learning pathways and individualised support.
  • Secondary Target Groups:

– Language students seeking a more effective and engaging learning experience, including professionals improving their skills for career development.

– Adult language schools which will benefit from the integration of advanced technology into their teaching methods.

– Educators and tutors who need efficient tools to personalize instruction and improve student outcomes.

Expected Results

  • Improved personalization in adult language learning, especially for learners with specific educational needs.
  • Increased engagement and retention of students in language programs through tailored learning experiences.
