The PersonaLingua project officially launched with a kick-off meeting on the 16th of May in Larnaca, Cyprus! The project is funded by the EU, under the Erasmus+ KA2 programme and aims to develop an AI-powered platform that supports language schools and tutors in personalising lessons for adult learners, especially those with learning difficulties or migrant backgrounds. The platform enables educators to create and manage individual learner profiles, generating unique student personas that help guide tailored learning paths using the school’s existing materials. When content gaps are identified, the system prompts teachers to create and upload additional resources to ensure continuous improvement of educational offerings.
Expected Results:
✅Improved personalisation in adult language learning, especially for learners with specific educational needs.
✅Increased engagement and retention of students in language programs through tailored learning experiences.
✅Successful deployment of a functional AI-powered platform across multiple language schools, setting a benchmark for the use of digital tools in language education.
Spaans Taalinstituut Molinos de Viento (Netherlands) coordinates the project in partnership with the Iphigenia Centre for Hellenic Studies (Greece) and C.F. ELITE TUTORS LTD (Cyprus).
